well this has all started recently. everytime i rev the engine the tach goes up and then back down and when it gets back to about 1000 it drops really low like the engine is about to stall. i think it might be the tps or maybe the fuel or oil pump but i dont know i will have to go put it on the diagnostic machine. but in the mean time can someone help me with this i really dont want to drive it around if this stuff keeps happening.

how do u reset the computer? I took a 93"engine and put it in 94" body. Its not as powerful as it should be, it backfires a little out of the throttle body, and its not shifting right. Any help or suggestions appreciated.

Reset it by disconnecting the Negative batter termianl from the batter for 60 seconds, and during those 60 seconds turn on the headlights to drain all power. reconnect it.., turn on the car, and let it idle for awhile.
