My 91 MTX WILL NOT START in the morning when it is cold outside. I know it's got to be problem with the LPM.
This is what happens... when the temp is usually 40 degrees or lower when I turn on my ignition the fuel pump won't shut off. You know it's just supposed to prime for a second and then kick off, but it keeps running and flood the engine thus nnot starting. But I can pull the LPM out and it will prime perfect and fire right up. Put it back in and no dice, same effect.
What wierd is that it only does this on the first start of the day, after that it start just fine no matter how cold.
I sent the LPM to TED he reprogrammed it but it is still doing it.
My question is has ANYONE ever had this happen to them, and what did they do to fix it?
