Get it all together and it will not go over 4000 rpms, it idles okay, but will not accelerate hard.........................So being the brainiac that I am I replace all the stock parts , still the same problem    HELP :bonk: :bonk: :bonk:

You also should reset your computer so it can relearn your system. You've changed things and when you turn it back on, it's expecting the same setup that you had before. So disconnect the neg. terminal on your battery, turn your headlights on, tap your brake and let it sit for a 10 minutes. The reconnect it, turn the car on and reset your idle.

Edit: And to get this in there before someone else chimes in. There are a lot of people who think the 73mm MAF is crap. I'm a firm believer that some cars hate them and some do really well. My car responded to my C&L 73mm wonderfully.....she adored it.

Check to see if you mangled the throttle linkage.

If it is not properly adjusted, the throttle plate will not open fully then the pedal is floored. Remove the intake hose to watch the plate while someone else operates the pedal. Make certain your floor mat is not under the gas pedal.

If that checks out, make certain the TPS is properly mounted and that you did not install it wrong on the throttle plate shaft.

The lights and brakes are functions that will drain a lot of juice. They are hooked to circuits which are hooked directly to the ECU (computer) and so drain any small amount of power which has been stored up there.

DON'T turn the car on when you do all of this- it's easy to forget to turn the car and lights off when you go to connect the battery again.

SPARK!!

I hope you can learn from my (mis)experience. :)

Is it OK to cycle the key on (light up the dash) without cranking to discharge the computer? Or is this going to do something wicked?
