Help.......Ive been doing the cam chain tensioners on my car and i went to put the cam tensioner back in when i noticed that the cam lock tool was off so i tried to put it back on and it wouldn't fall into place. it falls into place on the front set but the back set its just a hair off any suggestions or do i have to static time the whole motor.:banghd: i was thinking that now that i have the chain back on i would just rotate the motor enough to get the tool to fall back into place........oh btw i lined up the holes in the cams where the sprocket goes so i think im close......can you guys help or maybe there is someone in the hartford ct area that might be willing to give me a hand thanx guys

Just line up the timing marks on the chain (black Links) and the sprockets (straight up) and you'll be fine, you don't need those cam holding tools. You can move the cam with the proper sized wrench. On the cam shaft there is a place to install the wrench.

what do you mean by straight up? and thanx for the info........:thumb:

Disregard the straight up. Just align the marks on the sprockets and timing chains. The manual shows left sprocket mark at 9 O'clock relative to head and the right sprocket at 3 O'clock.
