Alright, last night I go to come home from work. Car no start. All I have done since having the CPS replaced was install my 80 MM Maf and install the Tweecer. So, its not starting at work. I pull the tweecer, I plug in the LPM, I pull the LPM, I unplug the ground, I plug everything back in. Then it starts. This morning, same thing.

Tonight, I go to leave work, nothing. I go through the same deal, nothing. I check the inertia switch, nothing. I have not had a chance to check my codes, and I'm hoping I can get a hold of a scanner tomorrow, or I will attempt the paperclip thing. But I suck at that.

Someone mentioned the IRCM. I dont think it is the fuel pump because I haven't noticed any other problems. And it isn't even making a noise. This seems sudden, and I hope it is something simple like an IRCM.

Anyone have any other suggestions on things to check? I will post tomorrow with codes info.

it is weird, and tricky to check your codes the first few times, but you get the hang of it...just write down some good instrutions to take in the car with you.

car in neutral, parking brake on. test connector connected with paper clip. upper right pin.

turn car to on (just before starting) leave there. listen for rad fans, and then fuel pump. then my engine light flickers. then will start blinking codes, longer pauses mean the end of the code, short pauses are part of the code (putting 3 #'s together...other than the pass codes -1, 111). it will repeate each code 2 times in case you missed it the first.

then after it stops flashing (give it 30 seconds or so to see), then crank her over. rpms will rise to 1500 or so, turn the steering wheel 1/2 turn left and then right, press brake, switch O/D switch on and off (if auto). then rpms will drop to 1000 or so in a lil bit. touch the gass pedal 1/4 way down for a sec. then watch for the codes, light will flicker again (on mine anyway) before spitting out codes.

then the cylinder ballance test: after all is down (light stopped bliking), press the gas 1/2 way down for a sec. then wait while the engine shuts off each cylinder (rpms will rise and fall and you will feel the missfire)...this takes a while to do (it goes 6 times or so), dont touch anything, just wait. then watch for the codes.

short form that and bring it in the car with you...it helps.

Well, I came home from work and I went to crank my windows before I check the codes, and I was curious. The car started.

I tried to run the codes, but all I got with the KOEO was a 511, which I assume is from the TwEECer. After that, I couldn't tell if it was blinking to tell me it was done, or giving me a code.

I tried with the engine on, but it wasn't giving me any codes. And I dont know what I did, but when I hit the gas it just sputtered but then the revs went up. So, I'm not sure what I was doing.

I'm going to make a quick run and do some data logging on the tweecer and see what happens.

So, I drive the car all last night, no problems.
About a half hour ago, I go to leave. No start. Fuel pump isn't turning on at all.

I go pick up my friends scanner, cant run the codes, and I got a comm failure from the tweecer. Is my computer dead?

I give up.
