HELP!! again...

Went to start my car and wouldn't start. Bunch of clicking underthe hood. Tried again and it almost turned over. Thought battery was bad so put jump pack on for a bit and then it started. CEL was lit with a P068A code. I googled the code but I'm no mechanic so I have no idea what it meant. Any help appreciated

Sounds like simply a bad ground at the battery terminal to me. Your jump pack just bypassed the battery is all.

Terminals are good. Car has 43k miles, maybe bad battery?

Take it out, put it on the charger overnight and take it to have it load tested.

Already have it out. Gonna take it to work tomorrow and have them test it.

I bet a combination from bad/weak battery and BMS not being reset.

That BMS is a PITA - HA! Sound like it - with such a hot summer - I bet many folks batteries have issues. Even if they are just a couple years old, welcome to the South. Your car battery is dying and the BCM needs a reset.

Are the battery and charging system voltages within specification? Possibly 13.5V+ or hopefully/preferably 14V+
