hello,

just bught this 95 mtx SHO couple days ago ,

1-. recently the srs airbag light is flashing 4+2 and than again 4+2 and on and on same numbers,

2-. also before i bought the car from the previous owner the rear brake lines were broken and all brake fluid had leaked out , i think ( but not sure) the master cylinder reservoir was dried out completely , so anyway i took the car at the mechanic today and had the rear brake lines replaced with new ones. The brake pedal got good presure now but the ABS light is on , is it beacuse air got in the system and all the calipers need to be bleeded?? cause the mechanic only bled the rear brakes , i told him to do the front ones he said no cause i am not replacing a master cylinder , i was like what the **** :ohreally:

anyone could help me with this isues??

thanks

you can scan ABS codes just as you do EEC-IV codes. Do a search, there's a guide somewhere.

Airbag code 42 is "Center Radiator Primary Crash Sensor Feed/Return Open"

Sounds like it's a bad sensor or damaged/disconnected wiring.

The one for your code is the one in the middle of the car. Above the radiator, square looking thing, 4 screws. Check that connector... sounds like it got disconnected or something, just like Anon said. :)
