Just wanted to introduce myself really quick on here....Im a Marine stationed in Jacksonville, NC. I recently purchased a 2011 Sho. Ive been following the vehicle since it came out and was pretty happy when I found out I was able to afford one. Im excited to be on here and learn some new stuff about the car. Thanks for all the info guys.

My car is currently in CO...Ill be headed back there on Wednesday and Ill post pics then. Its in perfect condition besides a little peeling chrome on the tail lights, but apparently thats something that seems to happen a lot.

Well Im headed back to CO tomorrow...Ive been on standby with nothing to do. So I figured why not waste some time and order a LMS tune. I just put the order in and now I cant wait!! I feel like the time is slowing down as I type this. I need to get home and see my car and get my SCT! Thanks ahead of time Rick...I wouldnt have bought this if I didnt read the hundreds of positive reviews for this...Im stoked!

What level tune did you get? Are you at high altitude in CO? I have heard of people going straight to the 4+ level tune and loving it. Apparently the BEST bang for the buck. SHO fever is in season ;)

My SHO is a 2011. So hopefully they will cover that....I should be getting my SCT today in the afternoon. Im going to start with 2 or 3 only because Colorado doesnt have 93. Highest is 91. Once I get back to North Carolina with the car I might try the 4. Either way, I feel like a kid waiting to open a present on christmas haha!

Had my rear lights replaced once under warranty but they started peeling again. I saw a thread about painting the chrome with Plasti-Dip. So I bought a can of spray black Plasti-Dip and taped it off. It took all together about 4 hours to do 3 coats. Looks AWESOME and so far seems to be permanent. I'm bummed that Ford has not come up with a better solution for this, like offering the SE lights that do not have the chrome but it is what it is and I am happy with the outcome. This does not change my feeling for this car. I just hit 50K miles and I still love it!

I have the metallic black it's got the 402a just no pp. I love it....I have been looking into the plasti-dip a lot I like the way it looks. I'm just debating on how blacked I wanted the car.

I only blacked out the chrome on the tail lights. Not the strip that goes between the tails. Looks awesome in my opinion. I like a little chrome but this seems to be the best solution to an ongoing problem. And you can't beat the $12.00 cost.
