Kinda Big deal
ok so i think ive finnally narrowed it down, and here is the story...
it started where i didnt have heat... code 02 (blend door actuator)
then i replaced the BDA, and the one in there was truly bad (teeth stripped off)
still code 02, heat full-on, BDA not moving.... checked fuse #17 = blown (only by testing resistances could i tell that it was blown) (fuse 17 runs the BDA Control unit, and blower motor speed controller)
WENT BACK TO SCHOOL AFTER CHRISTMAS BREAK (heat worked, but i couldnt change the temperature)
this weekend i am home again... its 15 degrees outside and NOW my heater fan does not work... when i got home from the short drive i took i then disconnected my speed controller @ the glovebox, and the fuses stopped blowing, i reconnected it and they blew again.... so i think its the speed controller that is the culprit (also fuse 9 (30A blower motor fuse) is good, so it isnt the motor causing me to not have a fan)
so if i replace the speed controller could this solve both the problem of no fan and the other problem of no heat adjustment? is it possible that after a few <0 degree days could have been the last blow for the speed controller (since it was already on its way out because it was blowing fuses)
