Is it possible to take the ugly heater thing out, and replace with a regular taurus, the one with the knobs?

Just asking, if it'd be simple enough to do or not.

The ugly one , its the one with the knobs.

If your button are cracked , They sell "hard" buttons on ebay (or here) for about 70bucks.

I donno if the vacuum system could accomodate the knobs one. I would say yes , but im not 100% sure.

Well ty for your opinion on whats ugly, but I happen to think the knobs look better than an ugly LED screen. But seriously ty for the help.

id definitly keep the one that was in the SHO knobs are usually a lower end option, and from what i know dont have the climate control with the temperature and probably wont hook up with the SHO's unit although i cant be sure. Its not a cover, its a whole new unit, its in 94-95 SHO's it looks better then the 93 and prior imo and the buttons dont crack.

Sweet. Is that like, an unplug-replugback job, or is it splicing wires, removing the entire dash kind of job?

To replace the digital ETAC, you need to remove the dash insert, goes aorund the EATC and then it is a direct swap with a hard button. The har button ones look much better.

You can not swap for a **** style as they have a different setup.
