2011 SHO Just noticed that the headliner around the rear third light is dropped about 1 inch lower than should be. This looks awful from behind i can see some kind a of parts and stuff. This not the quality I paid for will be taking it to dealer soon. Any one else noticed this problem

I also had the problem. I found that a clip that holds the headliner to the car had broken free from the headliner. I glued it back using epoxy. This was almost a year ago. So far, perfect.

Since it's in proper position now I can't take photos, sorry. But IIRC the clip is a fairly wide circle that was bonded from the factory to the headliner. On my car it was the one on the drivers side of the 3rd brake light. I said I used epoxy but I actually used Goop. I put an amount of glue on the clip and then held the headliner in place. I used a perfect sized cardboard box to push against the headliner from the seat back. I left it there for a full 24 hours to make sure it had time to cure. I am fortunate that this worked. I decided to try this myself after the dealer repaired the 3rd brake light issue of not sticking to the glass. They had to do that job 3 times to get it right so I thought I was not anxious to make more trips to the dealer for this. BTW If you are still under warranty this should be covered.

Somebody once plowed into the back of my SHO while it was parked. Left a nasty dent in the rear bumper. After having it repaired, the trunk no longer looked like it was positioned properly. The chrome beneath the rear lamps no longer lined up, and it appeared like there was a bit of a gap between the trunk lamp and the main body lamp.

I brought this up to the repair shop, and they told me Ford uses cheap plastic and that everything simply snaps into place. If it's sagging a bit, then that's just because it's not fitting back on properly, they said.

It's so minor, that no one who isn't a Taurus buff would notice. But I see it clearly, and it drives me insane. My new car can't come soon enough....
