Can anyone tell me where I can find factory head light case? As much as possible, I do not want to get it from a dealer. Reason: My head lamp plastic from the exterior looks weathered out. It has changed color due to the weather...

Can it be cleaned? Or just replace it with a new one...??

N3FOL:
Thanks for the reply. I have a 1995 SHO. Can you help me on this?
Easy, every single Mercury Sable ever made from like '92 up to '95 used the exact same headlight unit, so just pick one up somewhere off a junked one or whatnot.

That might be a great idea to go find a junk yard and hope that they have one. My biggest challenge here is where can I find one. (perhaps the yellow pages???) Anyway, thanks for the reply.

The 92-95 Sable lens's should be identical to the SHO. You can buy new (generic non-Ford) from: http://store.yahoo.com/dpstore/dp-h01510.html (those are new for $85 each).

Or you could of course get used ones which are usually about $40 each at salvage yards.

I put some NuLite on my car, it's an acrylic glaze that comes in a special kit. Others have applied fiberglass gelcoat or clear paint to their lenses after sanding and polishing.
