Having trouble figuring out these codes

Having trouble with the DIS ignition Module, I think? This is what is happening the car will run fine then act like it is down a cyilnder or two.
Then it will run fine again. Ran the codes and got 216 (M) Primary circuit failure - ignition coil 2 - Ignition Systems, 217 (M) Primary circuit failure - ignition coil 3 - Ignition Systems. Replaced the coilpack & still the same troubles. Anyone have any ideas me and my dad who is a ford mechanic are at a lost????????

I had the same code with my 91 it is the DIS module, when it gets hot it fails and your car will drop two cylinders. When you replace the DIS module make sure to use the grease that comes with it so it dont fail right away. If you need any thing else just send my a pm and i will get back to you.
