I been having this site on my computer as a favorite and I don't know when I got it but it looks very helpful. This site has genuine ford sho parts, at least some, that I think could be very helpful to us here. It's called Bob Utter Genuine Ford parts. If I'm late DO NOT put me in that section where the jokes on me. Just tell me you've already heard. Thanks y'all!

Well we can actually use both to parts because one can be cheaper than the next as I compared some of them. Like I didn't know I could still get a bumper cover for us. It may be more expensive but I know it's available.

It may be listed, that doesn't mean it is available. A lot of those kind of parts databases arn't always accurate.

My favorite online Ford dealer is Gaudin Ford in Las Vegas. They do offer genuine Ford parts at noticeable discounts, and their customer service is good for an online parts outfit. They used to be known as Discount Ford Parts, and they will hook you up with a firm called Obsolete Parts if they don't have the parts themselves.

Their search page is good, or you can enter the parts number.

It's good to have a network of Ford parts people. Torrie helps me alot but I had trouble getting a Ford front main seal recently due to crappy local dealer parts service people.

I couldn't get Torrie and shot an email to Silver State. I have purchased parts from them before and they sent me a list of the dealers with phone#'s and contact names that still showed that part in stock. Found it within 24hrs. Point is, I was in their database as a good cuistomer and got quick results. Spread it around isn't a bad strategy. Especially if the local dealer has crappy parts people.

Are you talking about the same dealer, Gaudin Ford in Las Vegas?

I don't know if they are the same or not. Contact numbers are different. Gaudin is an actual dealership with cars to sell, Silver State looks to be a Ford parts only outfit.

If I am only worried about price I open a few sites in different tabs and compare part prices side by side.

That being said,I try to support vendors on here first but if I'm in a hurry or price is paramount then I shop it around further. Usually I am willing to send a few extra bucks to those that support the SHO community.

True that luigisho...I'd prefer to support the vendors that support the SHO community also b ut if they carried more of the rare parts, it wouldn't have me looking else where too. As we all know, it's very hard to get those hard to get parts that are very rare. If I find something that'll help the SHO comunity as whole, then thats what I'll do. I'll check it out and sk someone on here if they heard of them and go from there. but you best believe I will be shopping to vendors that support our tight knit rare community. :)

Alot of SHO specific parts are rare these days as they have been discontinued.

These Ford part vendors are a little harder to find as Ford made them change their online names a few years ago and take Ford out of it. Used to be discountfordparts, fordpartsdirect, etc. Now you have to get the changed names.
