I pulled off the drivers rear wheel to inspect the dammage of a swaybar endlink that i knew was bad, I then found some carnage that struck me as odd..
After turning ghost white and the initial shock I decided I should check the passenger side also and then found this...

So I guess what I am asking is, has anyone else seen or had this happen to them? How common is it? They are the stock springs.

Might wanna put that back on right.
seriously the front is 3" off the ground, my jack doesn't even fit under it lol) and i just noticed the the right-rear spring on my sho is broken too. Time to put those Moogs I've had sitting in the garage to use. About that...is there any special purpose for the "insulation" around the springs? should this be copied when putting in new ones? thanks
