hey guys, i got a 'hardbutton face', (only the face, not the whole unit)unit off of ebay a bit ago. the problem is that its just a lil different. the larger buttons on the hardbutton unit have a space in the middle of the back of the button, whereas the old soft buttons had a seperate piece pushing a center pin onto the actual electronic unit. now i already fabbed/filled up to solve that problem(and have tested without the face screwed on), now i need to make the face have an even pressure while being attached to the rest of the unit. with the dash bezel back on, it pushes the unit in more, causing a buton to be pushed in, so the unit is unreponsive to any input except fan speed.

anyone have experience with this one?

im slowly figuring it out, day by day, by adding some 'automotive goop' to add some height to some parts.
