Hard-starting?

I have a 93 ATX, and I've read about torque-braking...would that help me get a better launch? And if so, how high should I rev before launching?

Some say it helps some say it don't. Personmally I think it does. Try 1500-2000 rpm. What you want to do is get the wheels to spin and get the rpms up in the 3000-3500 rpm range.
