Hard Starting

I have an issue with the car starting on the turn of the key, it sometime takes a few turns to get it to start. I have just done a front 100k this started before this. I know I have a IAC that may be bad, and I have a fuel pump with in the last year. The spark plugs were done with in a year also, what could this be.

If by few turns you mean you need to try to start it, release the key, and then try to start it again 2-3 times before it starts, then that points to the CID.

The car just had a new starter put in it. And yes I have to crank it sometimes it starts with in 10-15 seconds, and other times you have to let go and crank again then she starts up.

I am getting no code or CEL, this all started when my fuel pump went out, at that time all spark plugs were replaced, fuel pressure regulator, and fuel pump were replaced.

Mine sometimes wants to do this as well; I figured it was the CID. I never have a 10-15 second delay--I don't hold they key that long to avoid burning up the starter.

I try not to hold it that long, but sometimes she will start toward the end of that time frame.
