I have a 93 ATX that just turned 66K. Everytime i got to start it below half a tank of gas it takes 2-3 times before i get it started. I suspected the fuel pump because it was drying up, but it started to do it now on a full tank. And when i start it up it makes a gargling nose that seems to be coming from right behind the steering wheel. Would new spark plugs and wires be in order here? What should i do?

thanks,
scott

New plugs were due at 60K, so that would be a good idea to take care of. Your problem could still be the fuel pump, you're going to have to test the pressure to find out.

I dont believe my SHO has had the 60K even done to it. Ive checked the maintenance records in the manual but there is nothing but oil changes charted in there. Also the plug wires look a little old.
