GREAT christmas present

ok...so i get up early thismorning to get some coffee and some smokes to get ready for the crazy morning with the fam. Well im flyin down one of our back roads cause theres no one on the road at all. I down shift in to 3rd and floor it going around a turn and NOTHING...ooooh i was ******. I let off and coasted, the car was still running so i put in a low rmp range and drove normal...seemed fine then. As soon as i hit the gas hard it just acts like im not even hitting the gas. So basically when im light on the gas and run it through the gears its fine, but as soon as i try to put the pedal down some more it hesitates really bad. Im not running any check engine lights or anything, and i just replaced the cid module about a month ago. I i have a tach reading and everything so its not consistant with CID symptoms. I dont know...heeelp me please. :type:

Im starting to think Santa came and unplugged some vacume lines last night or somthing. SANTA = :evilgrin: right now

eh...so i went out to the garage to mess with this thing a little bit ago. My first thoughts were vacume leaks but it got alot worse and wouldnt even idle. I spayed all over the intake with carb cleaner while it was running and it changed nothing. So i primed the fuel pump and tryd squirting fuel out of the nozzle on the intake...got nothing. I guess i know what ill be doing this weekend.

i stopped at walmart sat after work and when i came out it would crank and crank without starting. ( CKP was replaced 2000 miles ago) it would start after a couple tries run incredibly bad with no tach then stall out and back fire. weird. I tried this a couple times with no go. i popped the hood and wiggled some wiring harness's including the CMP sensor and it fired right up and I had no prob with it since. I think i'll be ordering a new CMP just to be on the safe side. This is weird though because i was always under the understanding that it would eventually start and run fine after a few tries with a bad CMP sensor. even with the little Ford Factory Training I have they state the same thing. weird.

How long were you in walmart? Around 10-30 mins?
