My intake only had one screw?? Any one know why?
2 screws is excessive and unnecessary. The hole and one screw with constrain the MAP sensor in all directions. It also costs Ford thousands of dollars for that extra unnecessary screw so it was removed.
Only on 13 pp? A cerntin model or just fore there on?
More likely 2013+ since my '12 MKS has two. As mentioned, it's nothing to be concerned about or worth the effort to install a second screw. Is just means you can install/remove your 3-bar faster than I can.
+1 on the 2013+ vehicles. I'm also going to GUESS that it's a common change for all Ford vehicles that use MAP sensors. Again another guess, that's likely nearly all (if not all) Ford vehicles being sold.More likely 2013+ since my '12 MKS has two. Are sct live wire ts quarter mile times accurate? Just got a 14.09 @ 102 just wondering if its worthy to send to torrie?
Screwing costs money cheaper when single,2 screws is excessive and unnecessary. The hole and one screw with constrain the MAP sensor in all directions. It also costs Ford thousands of dollars for that extra unnecessary screw so it was removed.
