Trying to coordinate with a friend who has a '16 SS sedan, but thinking the 23rd of this month. We did a little fun run several months back that didn't go as he planned, so getting to the track will be fun.

Ha! I ran into a very nice SS at a gas station about 2 years ago. It was silver and he tastefully blacked out the chrome, etc, very nice. We parked next to each other at the pumps and our cars looked very similar. BUT, he started up the car and revved it - oh sweet Jebus, the sound of that V8!!! But it seemed like I showed more interest in is car than he did mine. He asked 1 question about my car like he's being polite. I told him it's tuned, etc but looked like he didn't listen or care. Well, well.... we pull up to a red light side-by-side.... I smoked him! He slowly stopped the gap and I could tell he was very slowly closing the gap but it would've taken a long distance to reel me in. So, at the next light his attitude was completely different, rolled down his window and started asking all kinds of questions about my car. Too late now buddy, green light gotta go! :burnout: :omgsho:

Definitely need to do that and take a video, I was trying to take it easy on the ol thing while I got used to it. (Although I think I should have stayed taking it easy when I drove home this Friday)
Oooo, you got out of the car? That's a big no-no around here. AND whipped out the camera to take their picture? uh-uh. Stay seated, roll down the windows, have your hands visible on the wheel.

Last time I got pulled over I bet I was as old as both officers added together. THAT's sorta depressing. But they sent me home with a warning to take off the plastic cover on my front license, "...because that's what some people use to avoid getting tickets from the cameras in the commute lanes." I said OK! Didn't mention to them that it was actually there to prevent speed laser from getting a reading...figured that explanation would not help things. ;)
