You should clean up at the brackets with those times!

Actually, looking again at your mph and 60' (very good) I would think the ET would have been a tick lower. 2.1x 60' and 97+ in the traps, and in the high 14's. Pretty good mph, looks like the car runs really good out of the hole, but maybe lags a tad in the 1-2 area (I would think a 9.5 sec 1/8th ET would be more in line with the other numbers), but pulls very well on the back 1/8th.

I need to sneak out there and run, seems everybody turns really good times. Maybe it's only 1310 feet? :D

Nice Avatar btw. Looks like the 'ole bruiser during "race season".

Once I figured up costs for hotel, gas, track fee, brake pads, rubber, etc for a typical track day. Come up with roughly, for typical 40-50 lap track day, works out to the equivalent of throwing about 20 bucks out the window everytime you pass the start/finish line.

Figured I'd post my results for the benefits of those not on the mailing list. Keep in mind that these times were from Sunday at Luskville, Quebec (not a downhill or short track) :)

Runs 6 through 10 were made with the flex-pipe unbolted so that the third cat, resonator and mufflers were by passed. Run 9 was made by Mike Seymour (we swapped cars). I manually shifted 2-3 for all my runs except for the first
two.

My conclusion is this, I didn't lose anything on the 60' by unbolting the exhaust and I gained a bit on the trap speed. In fact almost all my runs had better traps then I've ever had. I think my previous best was low 91's.

And the car sounds awesome with the exhaust by-passed. It's got a mean growl. Sounds like a mild drag car. My next mod will be a motorized
exhaust cut out. The sound is addictive!!

Speaking of mods, I have none really. I have the K&N panel filter, the intake removed from the air box and the seats out. The temperature today was somewhere between 40-46 F and the pressure was 101.5 kPa (or 29.97" Hg).

The tires were inflated to 45 psi cold. The tires are Goodyear Eagle LS's in a 225/60 flavour.

I believe that the taller tires really hurt the 60' times. In the spring in almost the exact same conditions I had almost all 2.2's for 60 foot times.

And just who has the info on Lapeer being short or downhill? Surely not a GPS that is only accurate to + or - 15M shoot
