I changed my cabin filter and now I have a part I can’t put back together. I see how it attaches, but physics won’t allow me to do so. To connect it, I have to close the glove box so far, my hand won’t fit in there.

Help!

Also, what does it do?

Undo the plunger in the first pic. Should be on a hook. Then reassemble the piece in the second pic.

Tried that. I can get it connected, but then I have the same problem - I can’t get my hand behind the glove box to put it back on the hinge.

You put the plunger all back together then put the glove box on the hinge if not done so already then let it lay on the ledge of the door as you close the door the plunger will get close to where you need to rehook it to the door and should get it from there

You need to unhook the inside plunger from the door it slides one way then pull it off then you can reassemble it.

That’s what I was looking for! I thought maybe the bottom piece came off, but couldn’t figure it out.

Funny, I watched that same video to know how yo change the filter.
