So, I got my exhaust from 2,4shofast put in yesterday.

Sounds amazing.. but the damn shop wouldn't install the cutout since it's "illegal".

So, I tried taking off the 3rd cat and the flex pipe... wow is that shit on there TIGHT.

How would someone go about getting that off? I tried hitting it with a hammer and prying it off.. but nothing worked.. it's in the TIGHT.

Assuming the ****** bolts are out a sawzall works on the back end.

I think that's what it's came down to.. unfortunately.

The guy who installed it said he used heat to get it in there.. but I only got a propane torch.. I would probably get sitting there for a while lol.

Do you have a cutoff wheel? even a Dremel cutting wheel will work.

If so, put 2 slices in the sides of the outer pipe running front to back, one on each side. Spread the slices apart.

Comes right off.

I did a modified version of Eric's suggestion - I hacked the cat pipe off at the joint to the catback, then used a sawzall to cut a slit in the inner pipe still left in the catback. Folded the inner pipeback on itself, and pulled it right out.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys.

Just don't pull any cold air into your exhaust ports.

Uhh.. I don't know if cold air got into them or not?

But I did get it off.. what a bitch that was.. I figured out it was all because of the person who put it on too.. ugh.

It sounds good though, so I don't think cold air got to them :p

Thanks for all your help, once again.
