6 it looks like so far. If we can get 2 more we might be able to barely make it but the more the better.

I would like one, but I have a G1 and no money!

I remember a bit ago one of the people who bought groundpounder's hoods had his delaminate and it split apart and crushed his roof. I think that was the CF with fiber glass reinforcing.

I will ask but ithey might be going off their past history with our hoods. You can always run without pins at your own risk.

Well they would only reccomend pins for racing.

Well it turns out they are selling the shop, they will still produce hoods but new molds will not be made untill the new owners take over. This is up in the air right now so we can only do orders on current hoods. So I dont know when we will be able to get the group buy going but at the rate things have been it has taken a while.

So I am sorry am this. Hopefully with the new owers we will be able to do this.

Will it come with the broom stick to hold it in the open possition?

I now have to really think about if I want one. The cowl kept me from ever considering it. Please let us know if this opportunity come up again.

I'm still slightly confused....but what is the difference between the cowl hood, the power bulge hood as compared to the stock hood (for a gen 2)? How do they look?

Reading through this thread did not do it for me 100%...I can guess what they look like (see below) but I wanna be sure before I sign up for the group buy.

Basically, I'm interested in a CF hood, but I don't like the style where the middle section increasingly raises towards the window. (Is that what's called the cowl hood?).

I would however like a CF version of the stock hood, or even a hood with a slightly raised center section. (Is that what you guys refer to as the power bulge as shown by the moderator "continental sho"?) Does anyone have a pic of the final power bulge hood?

Would there be any intrest in a Gen2 CF Power Buldge hood? Let me know, if we get 10 poeple we can go ahead.

Please, only respond if you will be ready to buy, the hood will be similiar in cost to the Cowl hood, though should be better fitting.

Matt (SHO_Continental) has a cowl hood, not a power buldge.

Yup, but I think that Mike (cmichealo) is referring to post #20 when Matt posted this pic of a buldge hood on LOUDSHO's car:

Hope that helps.
