Gen2 CF Power Buldge Hood Intrest

If the clear coat is removed it might eventually fade or get hazey. I have had mine for over a year and it has been fine. The hood might eventually need to be painted in the future.

hmm so could i take it somewhere and have it re-coated?... say every 2 years

I dont know, I would assume you could but I havent gotten there yet. So far the hood has been doing well. I will give you a 1yr warning if needed.

my main issue is that the car would mostly be "exposed to the elements" since i dont have a garage to park it in... i would probably take the hood off during winter anyway, or atleast have the car covered up...

I believe what he's saying is that he's having his painted from the beginning so that fading won't be an issue... or at least that the paint will fade before the CF gets a chance to.

I think. I might be wrong.

I work for Fix Auto, so I can get a good deal on getting the hood, trunk, and spoiler painted and installed.
