Thank you guys. Mike your white car was the reason I even decided to purchase a SHO in the first place. And I'm happy to help and give back to the platform.

Glad to be of inspiration and even happier to see you (as I've seen others) take up the proverbial torch, and continue forward in bringing new mods/options to the platform.
I know I've been (and continue to be) inspired by the older GEN owners, and current owners, who show their resilience (or maybe stubbornness?) in keeping this platform going and thumbing it in the face of all those mass produced platforms (Foreign or Domestic) and show that it's not just the car, but it's the individuals and the comradarie and friendships that keep the SHO alive.
Thank you Aaron for your talents. Great to see the continued enthusiasm!

Foregoing the Mel Brooks Schwartz comments, thank you for your work on this! And your story of finding performance cars fun again through the SHO, almost brought a tear to my eye.
Anywho...My only hesitation with buying this kit would be replacement parts. What do I do when it's time to replace the pads? Or a bad caliper? Will this kit use a standard pad or caliper available from wilwood? Or will I have to order the whole kit again...
Just concerned about downtime for my daily driver while I'm having he to sort out normal maintenance stuff...

Hey guys, I've been working with a new platform option with another Engineering Aaron Schwartz over on the Facebook SHO groups, and wanted to share some progress here to see what kind of interest we will have.
Currently we have 3 sets of these running around - one on his car, one on my car, and one on a retrofitted 2011 MKS just to ensure that the kit will work on the 10-12 cars as well (requires 2013+ knuckle and strut assembly).
Essentially, we both went to work last year trying to design a better braking system for the SHO for customers who like to track the car or enjoy more spirited driving without brake fade. I tried to utilize a set of S550 Mustang Brembo brakes that I had from my last car while he tried to utilize a set of CTS-V Brembo calipers. Neither of us were successful in our designs, as the clearances needed for the both the wheel backspacing and the current caliper fit up just weren't playing nice.
We reached out to Wilwood, Brembo, and a few others with our ideas and finally decided to work with Wilwood on a side mount option that they have. Surprisingly they already had one sized for a 14" rotor and our 13.92" rotors fit perfectly with the adapter plates that Aaron designed.
This will be an Ortiz Performance exclusive, and will be released once we get some more testing, 60-0 and 100-0 braking times via Dragy compared to a stock PP braking system.
Kit is tentatively priced at $1600 SHIPPED and is designed to work with the factory rotors or any of the numerous upgrades currently available for the Taurus SHO (EBC, Wilwood, Power Stop, R1 Concepts, etc.)
Kit Includes:
- Wilwood 6-Piston Brake Calipers in Black or Red (Available in Gray Anodized for an additional $150 kit cost)
- Adapter Bracket (billet machined) and needed hardware
- Wilwood SS braided brake lines
- Wilwood BP-20 Brake Pads
We can factor in aftermarket brake rotors for an added fee and likely save you the cost of getting them yourselves.
To my knowledge, the only other commercially available Brake upgrade kit is the TCE kit, which utilizes 4-*** Wilwoods and retails for $2300 plus shipping.
If you have any questions, please feel free to post and I'll answer what I can or relay to Aaron if there is a question on the brackets themselves.
Pics attached are of the mock-up on Aaron's car, my setup will utilize R1 Concepts slotted rotors.

I have a 2015 PP SHO, so I would assume this kit would be all I need to upgrade to your Wildwood package.
Looking forward to that list, as some of the brands of pads/rotors mentioned earlier I have yet to find a part number for our application. Also I've only seen one off the shelf part for SS lines to date?
Interested in this kit, but pricing for me is the biggest factor. Hoping it's affordable.
