My Gen II throws an intermitant air bag error code 35, which is passenger side air bag shorted or resistance too low. The Helms manual saya to replace either the passenger side air bag or the air bag computer, or both. The error code is a warm weather phenomenon - it shows up in the Texas summer heat and goes away in the winter. Last spring I removed both the air bag and the SRS computer and cleaned the various connections, but without success. I still have the 35 error airbag error sometimes. My question is, is there a way to partially disssemble either the air bag or the the SRS computer and fix the problem, without replacing one or both?
