Thats what i did too. Just pull out the back dash pad and you have four little screws the hold the factory brackets in and there is holes on the dash that are meant for 6x9's. Its very simple to do.

looked okay on the SHO but the completely clear lense makes it look like it was broken.

I opted for merely painting mine body color.

I tried installing reflectors inside them but the reflectors won't bend to conform to the shape of the lense (even after heating).

I'm still trying to figure out the mold making process to mold the entire lense from scratch.

I checked out your car on car domain steevil, nice lookin car by the way. That looks good painted, mine is a white 91+, any one got pics of a white one? Is there laws against doing that? Because that must take out your turn signal on the sides completely if you paint them. Right?

You're supposed to have amber side markers, but since the SHO has the projector lamps and inside signals, I wouldn't worry about it. The signal should still show through the front part of the corner light, shouldn't it?
