Man, good times!

I also remember the time in Buffalo at that go-kart place where the little kiddies kept kicking my a$$ on the track, and the 110 mph blasts I was doing in the FSVT so Jarod could get some good video. I think Marley made imprints in the floorboard from hitting her imaginary "passenger side brake".

does any one know the spring rate difference between the genII and III springs? for both stock and eibach?

I still have my genII eibach/kyb setup from when by 94 wagon was totled. so i might be able to use the struts and springs with gen3 mointing plates?

IIRC Paul Nimz has a bunch of spring charts for all gens. At one time it was a sticky post in the suspension forum at the TCA, not sure if it's still there though.

You'll be able to use your front G2 stuff, but you'll have to use the mount from the G2 and redrill the strut tower to bolt in the G2 mount.

Yep - Donor car. I found one locally that runs and comes with a spare engine.

The thing that I'm worried about is the ABS system. The OBD-II uses the ABS input to determine vehicle speed. I'm not sure how the Gen II brake system is setup - if it even has ABS. I'm going to have to do some head scratching on that.

Of course, this is all in theory based on my limited knowledge of how it all works:

Keep the G3 ABS setup. From what I'm told by a very reliable source, the ABS controller on the SHO has a pinout that's for the speed reading. Not sure how that circuit works, or how the speedo gets the signal. Maybe Paul can shed some light on this, since he's our resident "SHOtrician".

This will be a great swap Daniel, good luck with it, and the GTP.

Regarding bolting up the subframe, you should be able to install your Gen 3 struts into the Gen 2 knuckles.

Yes you would have to use the G3 ABS controller. If the G2 and G3 ABS sensor connectors are different then this would need changed. Also you would have to use the G3 senor rings in the front if the tooth count is not the same. I know the ATX G2 & 3 driver's side axle is the same part. This would suggest the sensor rings do have the same tooth count.
