Well diving into my first 60K service brought another question before I begin. Where are the three cam seals gaskets and the two front cover cam seal gaskets? And are these really involved in the service? Thanks again.

The top end 60K service usually involves (seal-wise) the two molded rubber seals for the valve cover to head mating surfaces and the six molded rubber seals for the spark plug wells. All eight of these pieces are in the Fel-Pro VS50378R set available for $71.99 from AutoZone.com. There are also the two, metal shim type gaskets that seal between the intake manifold and the head, but these are reuseable and usually do not need to be replaced unless the black finish is chipped away.

Unless you are removing the camshafts, the camshaft seals are not invloved in the 60k service. Just for information, there is one seal for each of the rear bank intake and exhaust camshafts and the front bank intake camshaft. The front bank exhaust camshaft does not penetrate the valve cover and therefore does not require a seal.
