My idle feels a little rough, it did still after we adjuted the valves, and after my water in the plug wells adventure, I've noticed my idle feels kind of high. when I start the car, it will idle around a grand, if I put it into gear, it drops to about 800ish, I've also noticed my tach kind of bouncing, and some times it just feels/sounds like its idling high.

Any suggestions?

Did you reset the idle yet? See this topic. The idle in gear at 800 rpm is normal. The bouncing idle is not. Resetting the idle is a bypass to cleaning the IAB valve.

All intake gaskets were replaced, but, some of the rubber connecters weren't in the best of shape.

I just diagnosed a similar problem on my '95 tonight. I am having trouble getting the rubber connectors at each end of the crossover tube on the intake manifold to seal. I just emailed ford parts network and they said that these have been discontinued. If anyone has a good way to get these sealed, PLEASE let me know. I think my problem got worse because of the really cold weather.

www.Shoshop.com has the silicone manifold hose kit for $99 IIRC...
