My 91 SHO has been sitting for about 3 weeks while I did some metal work in the right front fender well and I tried to start it to day and the fuel pump isn't kicking on, and the fans are stuck on.

The negative cable from the battery was disconnected while I was welding. The inertia switch has not tripped.

I do not see any pinched or burnt wires around the PCM on the engine side. I did have to remove a few ground wires so if anyone happens to have a picture of the I side of the right front fender that would be appreciated.

Is there a way I can jerry rig the pump to move the car?

fans running all the time as soon as you turn the key to "on" is a symptom of: 1) a bad connection to the pcm, or 2) a bad ground.

Did you disconnect the pcm while you were welding? If not, you likely killed the pcm.

I would look for bad grounds anywhere that you disconnected stuff while working on the car.

or 3) dead PCM.

There is a ground on the firewall near where the hood strut connects. It is a PCM ground, and the ground strap from the intake connects there as well.

I'll give it a check tomorrow. That ground isn't one i moved this time, but ill double check it anyways. This car still hasn't gotten sick of kicking my ass.
