First off, 91 mtx. (seen a bunch of people scold people for this)...
Ok, so my car has had an issue with starting before. It was the inertia switch.

This time I was driving around. Parked it and let it cool down. Went to start it again and the fuel pump doesn't come on.

Pulled the codes, got a 95, meaning "Fuel pump: open, bad ground or always on - Power / Fuel Pump Circuits"

So we check ALL the fuses, nada. Checked the inertia switch, nada.
Put in a new pump! Nada.

What in the ****!? What'd I break by driving it. I keep seeing people talking about a CCRM and something else, but what the **** is it and where is it?

Easy way to test the pump is to run a wire to the connector for the accident trip switch in the trunk directly from the positive terminal of the battery. Also works as a ghetto fix for a dead CCRM - just add a fuse and a switch inside the car.

CCRM is a kinda T-Shaped thing in the front of the engine compartment to the right side of the Radiator.
Has your FPR been replaced or is it still the original?

What's the FPR?
I think the CCRM has been replaced, it does say May 2001 on it so I assume.

lol Nice weather huh? I'm from Loveland. Not the fuel filer, it's brand new. It will turn over, but there's no fuel. The pump isn't getting power.

FPR= Fuel Pressure Regulator. If the CCRM goes out it can affect your Fuel Pump. You know what they say about assuming?! Does it only do this after its warm? Rad fan running? Does the check engine light look like its not as bright as it should be?

I'm thinking so too. I just took a multimeter to the inertia switch and it's pulling 12v ... So it HAS to be a bad ground right?

Thats sounds like the problem to me. If the pump stops running and you have the data link connector grounded then look for 12V at the inertia switch. If there is 12V+ there then it is either the fuel pump or the wiring from the pump to the inertia switch.

Click on SEARCH, select Advanced SEARCH, Keywords "fuel pump troubleshooting" and my username.

I've covered this subject in depth several times.

Check to see if there is 5V at the TPS connector when the key is on. Sorry TPS is Throttle Position Sensor.

I wonder if it's possible that it's not getting signal from the Computer. Check the pink/black wire at the computer, that is the wire that sends power to the pump. The Computer is located behind the glove box and up a little. Giver a little love tap.
