Fuel Pressure ?

What should the fuel pressure be for my 92MTX? It's running about 30lbs. Also, would a failed cam sensor keep my car from starting at all?

Search on the fuel pressure issue, but around 40psig at idle.

The cam sensor failure would let the car start in an ugly way, but it will let it start. Now the CPS failure will prevent the engine from getting any spark. What are the other sympyoms? Have you checked the codes? A CID or CPS sensor can give failure codes.

With the vacuum line to the FPR disconnected and plugged, the fuel pressure should be 39 +/- 2 psi.

According to manual: 3.0L engine running 28-33 PSI
3.2L engine running 35-45 PSI

3.0L key on engine off 30-45 PSI
3.2L key on engine off 35-45 PSI
