Hey All,
Ok here is the deal. I have had a project car with some serious issues for a while and I have made some serious progress but I am once again stuck.

I have had a no fuel pump run condition since I bought it. One of the problems I had was a bad computer which caused the pump to not prime initially. I sorted that problem with a new LOC computer along with that I replaced the relay box with a brand new one I had just for good measure. I also replaced the fuel pump, sender and that fun stuff and jumpered past the inertia switch in the trunk. So here is my problem:

Right after I installed the pump in December if I grounded the ECC fuel pump test pin the pump would run and my only problem was the key on no start condition. The car then sat until summer as I am a college student and when I returned the pump could no longer be jumpered on. I then went about installing the parts which caused my no fuel pump start condition with key on. That is now sorted but magically the pump has decided to stop working since it sat. Here is what I have diagnosed thus far.

At the connecter where the inertia switch is in the truck I have 4-5 volts when the key is turned on even if the ECC fuel pump test pin is grounded. Is this enough current or should it be more like 11-12 volts? If I have power to the pump but not enough what could cause that? I know it is not the ICRM as that is brand new.

Anyway and help would be very much appreciated.

Thanks,

Make sure your wiring harness is connected properly. Just above the trans, there are two large IDENTICAL (in other words, interachageable) plugs. I had mine plugged into the wrong one, and my fuel pump was acting very weird. It started once or twice, but that was it. The connectors I speak of are different colors, but if you are not shining a light down there, or are color deficient like myself, it is very easy to swap them. You might just have them plugged in wrong.
