fuel injector angle

when putting in new fuel injectors do they need to point a certain direction in the rail for it to operate properly? i still cant find out why my 92 mtx has no power

You should "clock " them so the holes in the tip are inline with the valves. Does that make sense ?

Yeah the two little holes should line up but if they dont will it run like crap?

No. Most aftermarket injectors don't even remotely line up or even have a spray pattern like the stockers.

Check for a leak, the injector o-rings are difficult to get a seal on. A leaky o-ring can cause rough running and low power.

I clock them so all the plugs are easy to connect and disconnect. Never paid any attention to the tip. Never had a problem with them either.

i put new seals in them and pushed them all the way in . i dont know how they could even leak. what exactly is clocking?

Imagine: a clock.

ie: rotate them. Personally, I just put them in so that the harnesses would plug in. There was not much room for rotation on mine.

There is a website where it shows you how to install bigger injectors , and it also explains exactly how to lign them up , but I forgot the linky. Maybe someone remembers.
