well i already replied to your other but mine as well do it again, leather is alot of money and when they take it off and stich and make a whole new cover that is alot of work, therefore the price is pretty high. to my knowledge your seats are basically the same as the 92-95 2nd generation SHO's so i would go to junk yards and search around for one of those lower age seats.actually i just bought a seat (grey leather power) for my grandfathers grand marquis park lane and it was $100 and is in very nice shape so i would go to some junk yard and look around, keep in mind that these cars are old and the leather is gong to have wear. also the 3rd generation 96-99 SHO's seats will fit in my car which is a 94 so you could even get a newer style seat that if from a 99 would only be about 7 years old compared to 16 years old. i dont know just look around and you'll get a good deal. me personally, if i had the money i would have the seats recovered with vinyl so that they would be stronger and last longer also a bit cheaper than leather. well hope this helps you! ;)

I am offering a complete interior kit for the 1st Gen SHO, the group buy for it is here http://www.shoforum.com/showthread.php?t=60840 . It is still about $1000 but you get the whole interior.

As far as pricing that sounds about right, the only reason its a little cheaper for our kit is the fact that we have patterned the seats, which greatly speeds up the process. The shop I work in we usually charge about $1000-1200 for a complete interior, as long as it is not custom and we do anywhere from 12-15 cars a week, so time is a premium. Generally I would be leary of a shop offering do do it for less than 1K just because you get what you pay for, and the seats could turn out with crooked stiches and ill fittting. Hope that helps!

Thanks for the replys. I really only need the front seats - the rest is still devcent. I guess I'll save up for the synth leather job...

Now for the fog lamps - any tips (89 MTX)?

Swiss,

Go and visit Billy at ProAm on Richmond street in Houston. That is where I got my PIAA HID's for the 93 and the Sylvania HIDS's for the 94. Great service and great prices.

They also sell seats.
