It was. Good eye! I liked the way it looked with the carbon fiber look in it, but have replaced it with my SCT emblem in its spot now. Today I spent a great deal of the day running all the wires and crap for my Sirius radio. The part I'm most pleased with is my power source for it. Instead of using the cig lighter and always having it opened (which I can't stand for some reason) I made another power point behind the dash under the console area. Bolted up and hooked it up flawlessly with no extra clutter. I have to live with the wires I guess coming from up above my radio/dash bezel. I should be able to get that video posted when I make it this week. Everything is a GO for the video, just that damn p/s bearing making noise when it's cold. One day that'll be fixed too.

Hey Vernon,
I suspect boost to be near 8 pounds. My drive ratio is 3.99 now and the tranny has been built to the fullest extent you can build an AX4N. Doug and I both know the IAT temps were going to be high, just because I have no intercooler on there. I did install methanol injection to help aid the cooling, but it was in the upwards of 180 before I did the meth injection. The IAT sensor is also right in the plenum, so it's getting pretty darn good temp readings. It has gobs of torque, as my 18" tires are finding out the hard way, but the horses are being robbed thanks to the heat. I'm probably not going to fool too much more with it honestly, as I have considered selling it. If the right money comes along, it'll be going to a new home. I've been toying with that idea for some time now, and it MAY be that time.

Yeah, I looked at similar intercoolers like that, and it would work but the piping would be the hard part. Not really that hard though, just time consuming and costly. Like I posted before, I would like to sell the car as opposed to dumping any more money in it. I'll get it dyno tuned of course, but that's it. Other things have became priority and I was hoping things would have changed when I brought it back home, but they haven't. Until then, I'll enjoy it though.....And I need to get a damn video of this thing too. But I hate cold weather!

Yeah, my lazy butt can't even get a pic of it on the dry street running. Let alone in the snow. I can only imagine it sitting still spinning on or in the ice since I can make it sit there and spin 'em on dry pavement. Once it gets cleared up maybe we should meet up sometime. I'll let you try the lil' Eaton out.

Room isn't the issue Paul. There is ample room for it, but the piping is the part I don't feel like doing. Basically, putting anymore money and time into it other than dyno-ing it now is not in the budget. Mostly due to the time I was away from it I lost interest in it. Yeah, it was great when I got it back home and it's a real head turner and makes a lot of noise, but it's time to move on. My 2010 SHO and the Lightning has became priority. If the right money comes along, someone else will have the second roots style supercharged Gen 3 in the world.

Even though I'm originally from much further north, I've adapted to the local climate and don't like getting outside until the temps spike. Did I see you were out toward Pungo in an old post?

get your V8 first, then let me know where you plan to run the piping for that setup.

No one in the past 14 years (as long as the V-8 SHOs have been around) has successfully crafted a turbo V-8 SHO. Some are in the works from what I hear, but no one has came out and shown pics so it is what it is. Until we see it, its a no go. Doug and I both agreed at the end of this fiasco we should have gone with a turbo or turbos, and called it a day. The turbo V-6 SHO he was finishing when I picked up mine looked amazing, and is not like any other turbo V-6 I've seen. Completely stock under the hood, even down to the airbox. He stealthly ran the piping thru the stock air box and you could only notice it if you were looking for it. I wish I woulda gone turbo now, but at this day and time, money would have been an issue. I know what the V-6 one cost, and I'm not putting that much "green" into any of my vehicles for performance wise. I have a right good chump of change into my Lightning, but nowhere close to that turbo SHO.

near as I can tell after poking and prodding around the V8 Engine bay, there's no real concievable way of mounting the turbo underhood...it's gonna have to be remote mounted somewhere else.
