Does anyone on the forum know where, and or if the foglight switch bulbs can be obtained. I've tried the dealer and various other sources without any luck. Dealer says buy the whole switch.
Help

Unfortunately the bulbs are a dealer only item. You don't have to replace the whole switch though, these bulbs are used in other places in the dash (my 89 uses them in the clock also).
Have them search for a clock bulb, they might find it easier. If they still can't find it, try another dealer.

Thanks guys, I'm not sure what the last post was referring to though. I am looking for the bulbs inside the switch - my switch works fine it just doesn't light up.
By the way we own a '93' MTX and a '95' ATX.
Thanks again

Simply pull the switch out and you can see the two bulb sockets. You twist them counter clockwise and pull them out. They are a tight fit so be patient.
I went back to Ford and they do not sell these parts anymore. Even the actual switch is now obsolete here (#F2DZ 15A214 A). If anyone knows how to get these bulbs for '92' to '95' please let me know.
Thanks

I went back to Ford and in Canada anyway they do not carry these bulbs. Even the switch is now obsolete (#F2DZ 15A214 A) and Ford will not disclose it supplier for the bulbs to me. If anyone knows where they can be found please let me know.
Thanks

Let me know what you find because have been going nuts trying to find the manufacturer of these bulbs. Ford says they cannot release this info to the gen public. Anyway I need both bulbs for my switch.
Thanks

I bought the exact bulb you're talking about from my FORD dealer. Show the parts guy the actual bulb. If he can't find a part number then he's a certified *******. Go to another dealer. BTW, the bulb costs like $6!!

Are you kidding me? I've been tried at least three. I guess what I need to do is get some decent airfare and fly to New York and buy that $6 bulb.
Thanks for your input, I will call Ford customer service again. Any chance you can get me a part number for the bulb you bought?

Me too, no luck in Toledo. Even tried radioshack to see if they had anything similar i could gerryrig. The salesman felt bad, he had to buy an expensive switch from Ford so he felt my pain.

I know the original message poster was asking about a Gen2 SHO but they may be the same bulbs.

I also needed to replace both bulbs inside my fog lamp switch on my '89. I found these bulbs at my local Auto Zone store.

Sylvania Part # 2721.

This is a set of 2 "instrument and indicator" bulbs. The pair cost $1.79.

The top bulb has a little green plastic cover on it to make the fog switch illuminate in color. Just peel it off and put it on your new bulb. The bottom bulb ("on" indicator) does not have a cover, instead has a yellow lens that the light illuminates.

I could not readily find this part on Autozone.com.

Hope this helps. :D

Apparently, the Gen1 and Gen2 bulbs are different. Sorry Gen2-ers. The sylvania bulb 2721 is the correct one for Gen1 fog light switches. It can be described as a mini version of a 194 bulb.

It is available on www.partsamerica.com for $1.99. I am assuming this is also for a package of 2 bulbs.
