First Trophy Finish

Last event I received my first event trophy. Yeah, it's just a magnet that says "2nd" but it is a trophy.

STS Class
1st was a fairly new BMW 323i @ 51.172
2nd was an 18 year old Ford Taurus @ 52.287
The rest of the class was all Hondas with times of...

Currently I hold a pretty solid 1st place in my class.

I just have to keep saying to myself, "Screaming tires are not happy tires. Happy tires, happy tires, happy tires..."

Those are my race rims, I only use them 10 times a year. I paid $25 for the set of four. Once I get some other work done to my car that will actually improve the handling, then I will think about better looking wheels.

Woo Hoo! Just got back from Autocross with another 2nd place magnet. First place was a Mazda 3. Thing was bone stock with factory tires and was the fastest FWD at the event. Just more proof that the driver is a big part of the equation. Behind me was someone else driving my SHO and a bunch of Hondas.
