Thanks :hail:

I want to run the setup that Jason showed me in the oiling post and have gotten the filter sanwich but not been able to get the cooler or lines yet, I did pick up the an-12 fittings for the sandwich tho.

Ernie

Ernie,

Did you go with the high performance Mocal unit and their fittings? It's a tight fit, but it will fit.

Yes I've got the sandwich and fittings from Mocal. Was going to get hold of you and see if you had anymore of the modified mounting bolts you talked about.
Also what oil filter your using?

Thanks
Ernie

I do not have another modified bolt for the oil filter/sandwich. Pat actually had two made when he needed one and gave me the other when I was ready install a cooler.

I am currently using a Wix filter that is equivilant in size to the FL-1A. In all honesty, you could probably get away with just about any filter as you're probably in bypass mode when you're running the salt flats. You could look at a Canton setup that does not utilize a bypass, but is supposed to allow enough oil through it's media that it filters and keeps up with demand.
