FINALLY...drove one.

Back before I bought my new '99, the "new" one I drove had about 100 miles on it.....plus the beating I gave it!!!!

I gotta say, I ain't a brown fan, but that color looks decent. Wouldn't buy one, though.

Got an up close inspection of the car today.

First impressions-

"wow, theres a new SHO- in white too, very nice looking.
(slowly walking up to it) "wow, it is a tad large"

.." wait a second"

My wife walked up to it, and it was actually TALLER than her.

Then it occured to me. This car only needs two mods. 33" muds and brush guards.

Officially not a fan.

Yeah it's big but I still like them, so in maybe 10-15 years I might be able to afford a new one. Went to renew my tabs today and the Minnesota Dept Of Public Safety say's my 93 was $25,319 brand new so my tabs are only 43 dollars. I couldn't even afford the Tabs for a new one ha!

I just bought this car.. Picking it up Monday. The color is not my favorite but I did pay 2000 less than any other dealer in the area...

Congrats on your new car bud. Does the interior have the Miko brown inset or is it all black? I'm wondering how it would look if this color car did indeed have the Miko brown interior.

Everyone talks about how fat (ie, weight) this car is.. The new CTSV supposedly weighs in tipping the scale past 4200#. Compared to the behemouth size of the SHO, I don't know how one can justify the CTS' weight in comparison. I'm sure someone will find a way, though.

That color should be on a Buick. Very odd. And apparently some of us out on this list have short wives!

The Sigma II platform is among the best in the world. And even with that weight, the V has 556hp and has handling among the world's best. C&D have dubbed the CTS a 10 Best car and called the CTS-V the best American car ever made.

Worry about the weight if you want, I'll forgive them for that with how amazing a car it is...

Nope I didnt take the picture,just happend to pick one from online of the same color. My cell phone sucks...
