Wow, that fix looks expensive. ;) Might want to throw in some earls stainless brake lines while you are in there from SHO Source. They are the best. :woo-hoo:

Edit:

If you would have just asked, I could have given you an old stock disc to measure up the holes for your wheel studs.

Eric, did you fit the rotor yet? I redrilled one rotor, it was off a little bit, so I just enlarged the holes on the other rotor.

I havent fit it, but 95% sure it'll fit... I had to go out and get a 5/8 bit.... and in doing so... I would guess that its actually a metric size thats used to drill these holes.. because when I put the caliper in the hole, it came out to 5/8 right on the money... but the bit wont fit in the hole... so I dunno.. maybe its a cheap bit.. ?

What I did... was use a few stacked paper cups.. (the semi thick coffee cups), and cut it to where it was just smaller than the center hole there.. then pushed it down until the tapered part of the cup slid the small rotor into place.. then used a 1/4" 10mm socket to put in each hole and started my pilot hole with a bit that was just smaller than the hole in the socket.

Additionally I did go ahead and "Trig-out" the first point so the thing should be pretty damn balanced still....

Then I used something like a 3/8, then 1/2, then 5/8... and it looks like this now..

P1080933

Here is 5 x 4.25" or better known as 5 x 108mm...

P1080932

And here you can see the Cobra's 5 x 4.5" or 5 x 114.3mm

I called for fun around to see what places would charge for something like this.. they say anywhere from $40-$80.. ha! I think not... lol Hubcentric FTW! lol

Anyone here ever upgrade their Master Cylnder? Just thinking on how brakes work, I would imagine one off a Mustang would have a larger slave cyl to push the extra fluid found in the extra pistons?

Do they bolt up the same? Has anyone tried?

Well.. looking at pics online.. it looks like the entire booster setup is different... so it would be a lot more custom than I was hoping for.. :)

Are you referring to the master cylinder on a fox body mustang? Any of the mustangs 97+ have hydraulic assist master cylinders so they wont fit at all and the master cylinder on the fox stang is pretty much the same size as the one on the taurus... If i remember correctly.

Well.. I was looking at the ones on the newer ones... something pushing more than 4 pistons..

lol SHOtime... as much as that sounds like pure sex... I dunno... don't tempt me... :) 11.6's are goin back there to help keep my balance... sucks I'll lose the Ebrake tho.. unless I can find an aftermarket DIY thing somewhere...

Well.. I was thinkin of putting the 96 calipers back there... they fit dont they? Or is there a peice I'm forgetting for those?

I guess even tho the pad is smaller, there is more leverage with a larger rotor, so it should help either way then? Those 92 calipers bolt up with the 96 brackets? I haven't fiddled with it.. raining outside now..

The front calipers won't work in the rear without custom brackets, IIRC. All the 11.6 rears I've seen have used the stock rear calipers. You're right about gaining leverage, which means you also gain some swept area per revolution.
