about a month ago i replaced the front and rear valve cover gaskets and noticed quite a bit of slack in my rear cam chain . Is this going to become a big problem any time soon and what should i do about fixing it . The car is an 89'SHO and is running very well . Also , i have an oil leak and i can't find where it is comming from . There is alot of oil build on the passenger side near the crank . Could this be the crank seal ? If so,is it hard to replace? i recently replaced the transmission on my 89' by my self so i'm pretty confident i can do a gasket replace. thanks-

Could be the crank seal, or one of the cam seals. Also could be your rear valve cover gasket if it wasn't installed correctly.

The instructions for all of that are on my site.

Any pics of the tensioner?

If your tensioner is giving mucho slack, you're out of luck I'm afraid. Ford discontinued them. My buddy had his rear tensioner go on him and his timing was pretty far off. After installing a new one he could tell the difference instantly.
