Once the slave cd and original hu are out of my 94 Jbl system is that it? Hook the new sony hu all in one with the metra harness and unplug the factory amp and done?

There is a second set of plugs on the left side of the radio in the dash that allow you to use the regular Ford install harness adapters...but you would lose the wiring to the subwoofer. If you plan on wiring in your own sub, with its own amp and box, I would use those other plugs and rip out all of the JBL. But that's just me.

Thanks. I did use the plug sitting inside the dash and took out everything factory except the front door speakers. New 6x8s in the rear deck and a new sony hu. Sounds great for what it is,but I need the black box for the sub. Didn't think I would ever use it so I threw it out 2 years ago. Now I want it. Going to wish in one hand and check the jy.
