When it comes to cars, I am by no means an idiot. But this SHO has me stumped. Its been down for 2 years after the battery exploded. After being taken to 4 different shops, the car was brought to me to fix. I'm progressively goin through and tryin to repair damage from the battery and mistakes the first shop had made. But I still can't get no fire. I've replaced the cam and crank sensors, coil pack, and ignition module. I've also gone through and reset the tioming to where its supposed to be, yet still it don't wanna fire. Its got fuel, no spark, and I'm stumped. Any ideas anyone may have that might help would be greatly appriciated.

Can you pull diagnostic codes from the computer? The battery explosion may have damaged something in the computer itself. Also check the ground on the passenger side rear corner of the intake manifold, as that is the ground for the DIS module, and without that ground in place you will get no spark.

Mc Henry, IL,
Did you put new battery cables on the car ? if you did, did the cables have the ground lead leading to the connector for the ground for the computer?, check to make sure that the DIS module is grounded, check the grounding strap on the pass. side rear of the intake, make sure the DIS bolts are clean and tight. Let us know what you find...

I don't believe the cables have been replaced. there are 3 codes showing..........
code 21-ECT out of test range
code 24 ACT out of test range
code 81 Air management circuit failure

concerning the ECT, theres no coolant in it as of now due to a large crack in the water pump.

I'll check the grounds as soon as I can get under the hood seein as how its rainin. I appriciate you guys help so far and hope together we can get it fixed

Removed the end of the intake tube and cleaned the mounting surface for the ICM and all points where bolts went through
Regreased the ICM
Replaced 2 missing bolts in the ICM and 4 missing bolts in the intake tube

and low and behold **** she started. Again thanks everyone for your help
