Every time i do a Delta sonic run to remove salt from the underbody, the sensor doesn't read the temp properly. It usually reads -40 or about 97. The actual temps is usually between 30 and 55. I need to know the exact location so i can jiggle the wires and see if i can find the problem.

Any replies welcome :)

interior is behind SHO dash symbol, and the exterior i think is behind the bumper, front.

The exterior sensor is forward of the A/C condensor, just to the driver side of center, about Ford oval high. It has an inverted metal cone on the top of it.

Don't feel bad, mine does the exact same thing now. I had the engine steam cleaned Saturday and it was the worst thing I could have ever done.

Problems after cleaning:

--ABS Light stays on (finally went off, thank goodness)
--Cruise doesn't dis-engage after touching brake
--Temperture is off (stays at -40)
--Seems very hard to get in gears now (only at certain times though--sometimes it will slip right in and sometimes it pops back out and shifting is a bitch).

Though the cleaning too the oily sludge off of the top of the transaxel, and it appears the valve covers are not leaking again (knock on wood).
