Got a Bay rental here in an hour and a half to go do my epp intake install. Just wondering if anybody had done a good write up/ pics of install? Or is this all going to be straightforward enough I'll know where everything goes?
I'm having a terrible time searching the forum, search won't allow EPP. Term to short or common.
TIA

The worst part is getting the new S hose on the damn back turbo. It’s not easy. I’d rip everything out and start there. Then couple the pipes to the back, loose. And get that locked down in the S. Get the front silicone 90 on the turbo and that pipe together. Then with the filter in the box, this was an important step for me, place the box in. Get the pipes on the filter then tighten the box and the rest of the clamps. I had to shave the temp sensor down to fit in the filter.

Sorry for skimming, but that’s my best advice for a quick summary. Good luck!

I have a gen one setup.... I will say the biggest PIA is getting everything lined up right. The install didn’t take long, but the adjusting to get everything lined up took forever, especially with having hot pipes too...

Then you’re actually lucky, cause those retained the factory S to the back turbo didn’t they?

I also used a little **** on all the silicone. Made adjustments of the pipes much less frustrating.

I'm stuck on my install. Re-use the stock clamps on the turbos, the t-bolt clamps provided don't fit. Period. Hopefully you don't have a UPR catch can because it's not compatible without modification. I'm stuck on this stage now. Would have only taken me an hour to reach this realization but spent 7 hours trying to get clamps on that simply don't fit

For the price it should be easier to install or at least include free shooting range ammo. This mod in particular has always bothered me because it's about 98% looks and there are glaring issues with that....but that's another story.

I'm glad to see different colors on the install for comparison purposes. I've always wondered why noone has fabbed a carbon fiber WRX style scoop for these cars yet

Not 98%, I’ll give you 50/50. There are proven performance gains and 1/4 mile tenths over stock air box. Is it worth the money? I’m going to say no. But when you find yourself committed to going for full bolt on...

For dual valve I believe it’s ‘16 and up you do. Otherwise you do not need the added port.
